Psychiatrist Alp Karaosmanoglu
After his graduation from the medical school, Dr. Karaosmanoglu completed his speciality training on Psychiatry. He has attended trainings on Analytical Group Therapies, Cognitive and Behavioral Psychotherapy, Sexual Dysfunctions.
Dr. Karaosmanoglu is currently the director of PsikoNET Psychotherapy and Training Center in Istanbul, which he has founded in 1999. Dr. Karaosmanoglu is giving CBT and Schema Therapy trainings to professionals and he is also supervising them. His tranings are approved by the International Society of Schema Therapy.
Dr. Karaosmanoglu is also the founder of PsikoNET Publishing CO. and has translated, edited and published books on psychology and psychiatry.

Psychologist Irem Erdem Atak
She was born in Istanbul in 1975. She was graduated from the Department of Psychology at Boğaziçi University in 1997. After graduation, she worked as a volunteer in the Child Psychiatry Department of Istanbul Medical Faculty for 1.5 years. In 2002, she completed graduate degree on Clinical Psychology in Istanbul University. While continuing graduate program, she worked at Gaziosmanpaşa Şafak Hastanesi as a psychologist. Afterwards, she worked in the Anatolia Clinics of Balıklı Rum Hospital as a psychologist and psychotherapist. Psychoanalytically oriented psychotherapy, Psychoanalytic interviewing techniques, Family Therapy, Schema Therapy, training on the administration and interpretation of various tests (Rorschach Test, Fairy Tale Test, WISC-R Intelligence test) can be named as the training programs she attended. She has scientific articles published in both Turkish and European journals. She still continues her doctorate program in Clinical Psychology at Istanbul University , takes an active part in scientific projects that are carried out there and works with infertile couples as the subject of her doctorate thesis at the Infertility Clinic of Istanbul Medical Faculty.

She was born in 1978. She grew up in Istanbul and earned her undergraduate degree from Bogazici University in counseling and her graduate degree from Dogus University in clinical psychology. The education seminars, supervision and congresses she attended between the years 2004-2009 were on topics of Cognitive Psychotherapy, Gestalt Therapy and Neuropsychological Testing. Others were Schema-Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Family Therapy.
She works with children and their families in Psikonet meanwhile she still continues her PhD study in neuroscience in Istanbul Medical University as well as administering neuropsychological testing for both children and the elderly since February 2008.

“Personal” is a service used by the member therapists and their clients. It can be reached only by those with whom a face to face interview has been conducted.
The purpose of PERSONAL is to increase and ease the communication between therapists and their clients. Clients log in to PERSONAL to fill in their questionnaires, to follow the assignments from their sessions, and to complete their assignments online.
The applications in PERSONAL have been designed by integrating the applications of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to internet environment. These applications have not been proven to be superior to those applied out of the internet environment. Thus, PERSONAL should not be seen as a new and more effective therapy technique, and the therapy one is already attending should not be changed.
